Key Outcomes from 3 Clinical Studies

  • Clinically proven to reduce the abundance of unwanted microbes that lie at the root of bad breath, biofilms/plaque, and poor oral health in dogs. 1,2,3
  • Clinically shown to lower bad breath compounds compared to placebo by 27% after only 7 days. 2
  • Clinically shown to reduce the abundance of Porphyromonas cangingivalis, a microbe closely linked to poor oral health. 2
  • Clinically proven to promote a healthy oral microbiome. 1, 2

The Unmet Health Need

  • 90% of dogs suffer from periodontal disease by age 2.
  • Current solutions are failing them—by masking symptoms with herbs and oils, working only on the surface with mechanical action, or disrupting the oral microbiome with harmful chemicals.

Our Key Insight

  • The oral microbiome—specifically its unwanted microbes—drives poor pet oral health.
  • These unwanted microbes produce volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs, which cause bad breath) and generate biofilms.
  • Left unchecked, these biofilms harden into tartar and lead to serious disease.

Our Development Process

  • Using high-throughput screening of our proprietary biobank, we identified microbial strains with exceptional ability to target unwanted oral microbes while preserving beneficial ones.
  • We optimized the strain combination for consistent efficacy, stability, and metabolite production — and then validated it through three placebo-controlled clinical studies in dogs.
  • The result: industry-leading efficacy with 27% bad breath reduction in just 7 days.
